On 18th and 19th May the town of Germignaga, on the Lombardy shore of Lake Maggiore in Italy, hosted the Air Tour of Lake Maggiore, a small seaplane meeting held during a symposium about tourism on the lake.
Unfortunately, this month northern Italy was hit by a series of storms (including some severe ones which caused flooding in some areas), and a downburst in the afternoon severely limited flying activity. Two historic seaplanes, a Republic RC-3 SeaBee and a very rare Nardi FN.333 Riviera, could not reach the location due to bad weather.

Other attending planes were another ICP Savannah, an ICP Bingo, a Zlin Savage and a Cessna 206, which unfortunately I had not the chance to see flying due to weather conditions.
